Slow Cooked Meat Sauce

Making a pot of bolognese or a favorite meat sauce is practically a healing art, an ancient alchemy of combining this group of ingredients bound together with love--it is a magic elixir for healing, and you can taste the love! We have a tradition of eating this on the weekend after Thanksgiving, to shake off the post-Thanksgiving malaise. Spend an afternoon making one of your favorites with your family and you will see what I mean. I always triple it to freeze some because it's so good and there is never enough.

Meatballs In A Spicy Chipotle Tomato Sauce

Last chance Weekend giveaway! Finished product! Thank you so much to @allclad for joining in with my @whole30recipes takeover with this spectacular giveaway. This is one of those pans I didn’t even know I needed and now I don’t know how I ever lived without it. These are absolutely as delicious as they look. They are rich, rustic, smoky and out-of-this world, whether you are doing @whole30 or love eating good food that isn’t processed. Once the meatballs were set and back on the stove, I gently added the sauce and simmered for a bit using @muirglen tomatoes until done. Thanks so much for your support during my @whole30recipes takeover week. It’s been such a pleasure for me. If you haven’t been over there, please come visit me and say hello, as it’s almost over! A Note From Rebecca Firth

I have personally done 3 rounds of Whole30 with @nocrumbsleft, so when she says she’s got an amazing Whole30 meatball…you find the recipe and make it! Meatball flavor perfection, a definite must for anyone, even if you’re not on Whole30! The chipotle totally kicks this sauce up a notch.

Chicken Peratal

Chicken Peratal for dinner tonight; a spicy south Indian (Tamil Nadu) dry style preparation. Chicken marinated with turmeric & chilli powders, stir fried with the golden trio of garlic-ginger-onion, and spiced up with cardamom, star anise, cinnamon, curry leaves, and fennel seeds. Just can't resist a second bowl of rice with this one!

Braising these thighs layers flavor and keeps them nice and moist. The addition of saffron potatoes will leave everyone swooning.

Seafood Paella With Saffron Rice And Red Mustard Greens

A Note From Rebecca Firth

Ready in under an hour, this uber-delicious meal is comforting and satisfying. Mustard greens add a twist to this usually time-consuming classic.

Taking them back to Spain tonight with a meatless Monday seafood paella with saffron rice and a kick of winter red mustard greens!!

Ginger Cod With Coconut Miso, Cabbage & Seaweed

A Note From Rebecca Firth

Cod is extremely receptive to Asian flavors. This combination of ginger, miso and coconut sound like Sunday perfection.
Opt for Pacific Cod as a more sustainable option.

A Note From Rebecca Firth

Sunday suppers don’t have to be time intensive or heavy. This one is neither. On those days when you want something that’s comforting and healthy, this should be your go-to option.

A Note From Rebecca Firth

Chicken is pounded and dredged, flavors are layered and simmered. This is the perfect end to one week and beginning of another.
