Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Part-Time Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in food content, social media, and the food industry. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who excels at research, organization, and email communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Engagement: Spend time scrolling through Instagram, exploring food content, and identifying trending topics, target brands, and potential advertisers.
Research and Analysis: Utilize online databases to research advertising spends and analyze market trends. Stay updated on the latest food brands and products.
Market Exploration: Walk through grocery store aisles to discover new and emerging brands that align with Feedfeed’s mission and vision.
Content Review: Flip through food magazines and conduct extensive online research to find potential brand partners.
Data Organization: Maintain organized and detailed spreadsheets to catalog findings, research data, and outreach activities.
Outreach Coordination: Reach out to brands and agencies, build relationships, and catalog all communication and responses.
Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the sales team as needed.
Qualifications:
Passion for food and a deep interest in food content on social media platforms.
Excellent research skills and the ability to synthesize information from various sources.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in using spreadsheets and online databases.
Effective communication skills for outreach and relationship building.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Previous experience in sales or marketing is a plus.
This is a freelance, independent contractor position paid on an hourly basis, with the opportunity to earn commission based on successful brand partnerships secured. Contractors will invoice for hours worked and commissions earned, maintaining control over their workflow and schedule.
