Chorizo, a pork sausage typically associated with Spain but that can be found across the globe in varying form and flavor, is one of our favorite ingredients to use when adding a little something extra to a dish. Traditionally red, it gets its color from paprika, which imparts a smoky undertone. It can be used in everything ranging from breakfast eggs to grilled cheese to seafood stews.
