Fried Ravioli With Marinara Dipping Sauce
Fried Ravioli with Smoked Marinara. This was my first attempt at frying ravioli, inspired by one that I saw @supperwithmichelle make last year. I used store-bought (I love @giovanniranausa) ravioli filled with mozzarella that I coated in egg then seasoned fine bread crumbs. Shallow fry in olive oil until golden. I used a smoking gun to add an interesting depth to the marinara. This was so freakin' yum!!!! #GiovanniRanaUSA #feedfeed #contest
Peri-peri Duck
Peri Peri Duck, Crispy New Potatoes & Kale. The duck was marinated overnight in a paste made with African bird's eye chili, ginger, citrus peel, bay, garlic & salt. I then put it in my Instant pressure cooker until tender and broiled it. Traditionally any bird made "peri peri" or "piri piri" sauce would be cooked over an open flame, but today I'm in the mood for fast flavor. There is nothing like that char though. This is a favorite recipe from @bonappetitmag that I made last Summer. There's honey, fresh grapefruit juice, red pepper flakes & pinot noir sea salt (my own addition)...but crispy rosemary + watermelon = match made in heaven.

Spiced Beef And Butternut Stew
Spiced Beef & Butternut Stew made in 45 minutes using my pressure cooker! Tastes like it simmered all day long, if I do say so myself. I certainly could've added the squash a bit later because it's a little overdone but that just means deliciously rich gravy. This is a @jamieoliver recipe, Jools's Favourite Beef Stew. but I did not add artichokes or carrots and upped the garlic + seasoned the beef with ras el hanout. Serving it with wild rice and maybe a hot toddy. It's cold out there!
