ingredients
- 3 chicken breasts, cut in half
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon lemon pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon adobo
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 large onion, diced
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 1/2 pounds mushrooms
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan
- Parsley, to garnish
Method
Step 1
Cut the chicken breasts in half.
Step 2
Season the chicken with the paprika, lemon pepper, garlic powder, adobo and chili powder.
Step 3
Add oil to the pan and sear the chicken for about 3 minutes per side and remove from the pan.
Step 4
To that same pan add the butter, onion, garlic and sauté for about a minute.
Step 5
Add in the mushrooms and cook for about five minutes.
Step 6
Add the flour and give it a good Mix and let the flour cook for about a minute.
Step 7
Next add the heavy cream, chicken broth, salt and black pepper and parmesan cheese give it a good mix.
Step 8
Add the chicken back in with all the juices, cover and simmer for another 10 minutes on medium to low heat.
Step 9
Garnish with parsley and enjoy.
