A Note From Mabel Chan

Korea has a long history of creating a unique food culture according to region, agriculture and climate. You will find fermented foods such as gochujang (chili paste) and doenjjang (fermented bean) that were developed to endure the intense cold winter. Azalea and chrysanthemum pancakes served in the royal court and simple banchan (small dishes) served in temples. This feed celebrates not only the traditional dishes of Korea, but also popular street food and fusion dishes highlighting Korean ingredients. We'll have you eating kimchi in no time!
