"Ranch dressing is one of those pizza toppings that you either love or hate - but when it’s paired wth spicy crunchy chili oil, well, I’m almost positive that everyone will love it! Not only is this pizza drizzled with cool ranch dressing and spicy chili oil, but it also packs a punch from pepperoni, red onion and banana peppers."

ingredients

  • 1 ball of my go-to fave pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup fresh mozzarella, hand-torn
  • 1/4 cup pepperoni
  • 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup banana peppers, patted dry
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons ranch dressing
  • 2 tablespoons crunchy chili oil
  • Flour, for dusting

Method

  • Step 1

Preheat the ooni pizza oven to 900F degrees for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, flour your clean work surface and stretch out the dough to form about a 16 inch pizza.

  • Step 2

Get all of the other ingredients prepped so that you can build it super fast during the next step to avoid it sticking to the peel.

  • Step 3

Once the dough is shaped, dust the ooni pizza peel with a little more flour and place it on top. Quickly add the tomato sauce, mozz, pepperoni, onion, banana peppers and salt.

  • Step 4

Quickly and carefully transfer the pizza off the peel and into the preheated oven. Drop the heat down to about 750-800 so that the crust has time to cook and the toppings melt and heat cohesively.

  • Step 5

After about 1 minute, turn the pizza to cook the other side closest to the glass.

  • Step 6

A minute later, the pizza is ready to be removed from the ooni using the metal pizza peel.

  • Step 7

After that, I transfer it to the ooni wooden pizza board and top it with a drizzle of ranch dressing and crunchy chili oil. Then it’s time to slice it using my ooni pizza cutter.
