This sweet and savory goat cheese and fig crostini topped with basil is a quick and easy summer appetizer that looks beautiful too.

  • 1 baguette (or any crostini sized bread), sliced and toasted
  • 8 ounces goat cheese
  • 3-4 Figs, sliced
  • Pine honey, to drizzle
  • 2-3 Basil leaves, cut into thin ribbons
  • Whole cloves, to taste
  • Himalayan Pink salt, to taste


  • Step 1

    Preheat oven to 400ºF and toast bread slices on both sides

  • Step 2

    Using a stand mixer with the whisk attachment or by hand, whip the goat cheese until light and fluffy.

  • Step 3

    Spread a spoonful of goat cheese on each toasted slice. Top with a fig slice, drizzle with honey and sprinkle with basil, salt, and cloves.
