ingredients

  • 1 cup Cascadian Farms Frozen Blackberries
  • 1 cup Cascadian Farms Frozen Blueberries
  • 2 slices sourdough bread
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons shredded fontina
  • 2-3 tablespoons truffle brie
  • 1 thin slice gruyère
  • Thyme (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Method

  • Step 1

    In a medium saucepan on medium heat, add in 2 cups frozen Cascadian blueberries, and 2 cups frozen blackberries. Add ¼ cup lemon juice, and ¼ cup sugar and stir until desired consistency is reached.

  • Step 2

    Spread butter on one side of the sliced sourdough bread. On a medium pan with medium heat place the bread with butter on the pan.

  • Step 3

    Add Truffle brie and layer it with gruyère and fontina. Optional: sprinkle thyme.

  • Step 4

    Place the macerated berries on the other toast and drizzle with honey.
