ingredients
- 1 cup Cascadian Farms Frozen Blackberries
- 1 cup Cascadian Farms Frozen Blueberries
- 2 slices sourdough bread
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons shredded fontina
- 2-3 tablespoons truffle brie
- 1 thin slice gruyère
- Thyme (optional)
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon butter
Method
Step 1
In a medium saucepan on medium heat, add in 2 cups frozen Cascadian blueberries, and 2 cups frozen blackberries. Add ¼ cup lemon juice, and ¼ cup sugar and stir until desired consistency is reached.
Step 2
Spread butter on one side of the sliced sourdough bread. On a medium pan with medium heat place the bread with butter on the pan.
Step 3
Add Truffle brie and layer it with gruyère and fontina. Optional: sprinkle thyme.
Step 4
Place the macerated berries on the other toast and drizzle with honey.
