- 1 bag spinach, sautéed
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 2/ 3 cup sour cream
- 1 cup canned artichokes, cut into quarters
- 1 1/ 2 cups shredded mozzarella
- 1/ 2 cup parmesan
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/ 2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 loaf uncut bread
- 1/ 2 cup shredded mozzarella
Sauté spinach in a little bit of olive oil. Cool off for a couple of minutes, pat dry with paper towels to remove moisture, and chop coarsely.
Preheat oven to 400°F. In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, cooked spinach, artichokes, 1 1/2 cups mozzarella, 1/2 cup parmesan, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and mix using a spatula.
Place bread over a cutting board and, using a serrated knife, make a rectangular cut without cutting the bread all the way through. Remove the rectangle using your hands and save the bread for another time or discard. Using a spatula, add the dip to the center of the bread and spread evenly. Add remaining cheese on top and place over a baking tray.
Bake for 15 minutes until the cheese begins to form a brown crust. Remove from oven and serve by cutting into slices.
Oh man. You're going to want to add this to your next game game day spread. The hungrier the crowd, the better! Who doesn't love a cheesy bread, right?
