In a small bowl or measuring cup, whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, olive oil, mustard, cajun seasoning, and garlic.
Next, melt butter in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add the soy sauce mixture to the pan, whisk, and reduce for 2 minutes.
Season the shrimp with salt and pepper, and add it to the sauce. Toss and cook for 4-5 minutes until the shrimp is opaque.
Garnish with chopped green onion.
