Look, we all get the winter doldrums this time of the year. The major yearly holidays have wrapped up, fresh produce in the Northeast amounts to parsnips, potatoes and apples until April and I have to ask myself, how many more root vegetables can one human eat? So in lieu of root veggies, my answer is cocktails. Booze calms the soul and transports you instantly out of the sadness that is the end of the winter.
