  • Step 1

    Heat oven to 350 F. In a 10” ovenproof skillet, set over medium-low heat, combine butter, chocolate chips, and salt. Let the butter and chocolate melt, stirring occasionally. Turn off the heat.

  • Step 2

    Carefully whisk in sugar until smooth, then whisk in eggs and vanilla. Finally, whisk in flour until no streaks remain. Use a spatula to smooth the top.

  • Step 3

    Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is set, the center is soft, and the edges are firm and pulling away from the sides of the skillet. Transfer to a wire rack to cool for 10 minutes.

  • Step 4

    While the brownies are cooling, remove the ice cream bars from their packaging. Place the ice cream bars onto a cutting board. Remove and discard the ice cream bar sticks.

  • Step 5

    Top the brownie with the chopped ice cream bars and serve immediately.
