| I struggle to think of a summer dessert that's more nostalgic than a classic s'mores. I'm reminded of roasting marshmallows with my siblings over a campfire. We'd toast them until they'd turn dark brown and crispy on the outside, and turn soft and gooey on the inside. We always pushed the limits of borderline lighting our 'mallows on fire, finding the balance of when to pull back when they were on the cusp. Then we'd take the warm marshmallow and sandwich it between chocolate squares, watching it slowly melt.
