The Spice is Right!
Reach into that spice drawer to add a little extra flavor to dinner!
Spice Swap: If ginger is running a little low... replace with a warm spice like allspice or nutmeg, but just a pinch! This can help tone down the the tangy red pepper sauce and give the dish a warm earthiness.
Keep it Lean!
We all love comforting and hearty meals, but sometimes you just need something easy, light, and mostly vegetables! Load up that sheet pan with lots of veggies and prep some fresh, extra crunchy vegetables to go along with your choice of protein!
Trying to make more fresh fish at home? This recipe is for you! We seasoned wild salmon with a mix of Simply Organic Ginger, Five Spice Powder and Crushed Red Pepper and seared it over high heat before topping it with a tamari, ginger and honey glaze. Serve the fish over an easy Simply Organic Black Sesame flecked rice and round it all out with some bittersweet bok choy!
Spice Swap: Five spice is a mix of cinnamon, cardamom, fennel, cloves, star anise and white pepper so if you don't have the blend on hand, make your own based on what it in your cupboard!
By the time Spring rolls around on the East Coast, we’re longing for bright & vibrant meals. However, often times it’s still pretty chilly going into the middle of May, so those bright spring flavors need to be served along with a side of comfort. Enter these spring forward stuffed shells bursting with fresh green vegetables and perfectly spiced with Simply Organic Garlic Powder, Lemon Pepper, Crushed Red Pepper and Oregano.
Spice Swap: If you don't have Lemon Pepper spice blend on hand, zest a lemon and combine with cracked black pepper, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt!
