Dutch Baby Pancake with Nutella

  • 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 10 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted, cooled and divided

To Serve:


  • 1 cup of fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup Nutella®


  • Step 1

    Preheat oven to 425F. Place a baking dish in the oven as it pre-heats.

  • Step 2

    Mix flour, milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and 8 tablespoons melted butter in a large bowl or in a blender until completely smooth. Rest the batter in the fridge for 30 minutes.

  • Step 3

    Remove the hot baking dish from the preheated oven and spray with a non-stick spray. Add remaining two tablespoons of melted butter and swirl it so it coats the base of the baking dish.

  • Step 4

    Add the batter to the baking dish and bake for 25 minutes until the top of the pancake is golden brown.

  • Step 5

    Drizzle Nutella® over the Dutch Baby Pancake and serve with fresh strawberries.
