For most of the country, mid-winter means prime root vegetable season at the farmers market. With a long shelf life, root vegetables like carrots, parsnips and turnips are endlessly versatile. We’re starting the week with a sweet and savory glazed one-pan glazed turnip dinner, assembling a vibrant shaved salad, and ending the week strong with a breakfast-for-dinner hash.
