Persimmon Oatmeal with Blueberries and Almonds

  • 2 medium persimmons, peeled and finely chopped
  • 1 cups oats
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • Pinch of salt


  • Step 1

    Add all the ingredients in a small sauce pan. Cook on medium low heat for about 10 minutes until desired texture. If it gets to thick, add a little more water.

  • Step 2

    To serve top with slices of persimmon, blueberries, almond flakes and a little honey or maple syrup if desired. Enjoy!
