Use What You've Got!

This week we’ll help you use up any odds and ends from last week’s Thanksgiving grocery haul! You’ve probably got onions, carrots, celery, citrus, apples, and a few miscellaneous veggies left in the fridge from the feast. We’ll start the week with a roasted vegetable salad, then we’ve got a hearty chicken adobo, and to wrap it up: an orange-honey syrup as a weekend bonus that doubles as a great edible gift!

If you make any of these dishes, snap a photo and tag us #feedfeed @thefeedfeed on Instagram for a chance to be featured. Happy cooking!

Orange-Honey Syrup
By @lisathompson

Here's a winter spin on Food Editor Lisa Thompson’s favorite lemon-honey syrup! Here she uses oranges, clementines, and warm spices like cinnamon for a wonderfully floral and fragrant syrup that can be used in cocktails, glazes, or even festive pavlovas. Make sure to keep this recipe in your back pocket this holiday season! All it needs is a bow to make a simple, thoughtful edible gift.

SEED + MILL   |  ORGANIC TAHINI

Tahini is made of ground sesame seeds. People often call it sesame butter because of its rich and silky texture. After roasting the sesame seeds they are ground in small batches to produce an irresistible paste – known as tahini - which can be devoured all on its own, whipped into a dip, added to smoothies, baked into treats, or drizzled over just about anything.
