We’ve given millet the crispy fritter treatment. Instead of pan frying each one, we bake them on an oiled baking sheet tray for similar results, without the hassle. While they bake, stir together the bright, tangy yogurt sauce. Serve with a simple salad, if you like.
"This easy sheet pan dinner comes together quickly but doesn’t compromise on flavor. Spanish and North African flavors like smoked paprika, plump medjool dates, and a hit of vinegar liven up simple roasted veggies for a meal that’s perfect on a crisp fall night or to make on a Sunday for meal prep! Lamb sausage like merguez is delicious in this dish, but feel free to swap in any sausage you like, even plant-based!" - Lisa Thompson, Food Editor
In the words of Ina Garten "Store bought is fine!" Pick up a package of pre-made, gluten free flatbread and top it with harissa grilled shrimp (or your protein of choice), finely chopped herbs and goat cheese. Use up any leftover veggies from the previous night's taco bowl or sheet pan dinner for additional toppings.
Roasted broccoli, crispy chickpeas, tomatoes and avocado are topped over fully cooked quinoa and finished with a drizzle of a creamy herb vinaigrette. This flavorful bowl is perfect for a quick plant-based lunch or dinner.
For a crispy pizza crust, preheat your cast iron skillet in a 425°F oven for 20 minutes. Quickly and carefully transfer your pizza crust to the hot skillet and top with your favorite cheeses, grapes and bake until the crust is cooked through and the cheese is melted. Sprinkle a few herbs to make it fancy and pour yourself a glass of wine. TGIF!
Tortillas are fried and coated in homemade red salsa, then topped with cheese, crema, and slices of fresh red onion and cilantro! Finish it off with a fried egg for a filling breakfast or dinner. Feel free to use up any leftover taco bowl toppings with this one!
Runamok's greatest discovery is the infused, smoked and barrel-aged syrups and finding out how well they pair with cheese. We are constantly amazed at how the syrup brings out nuances we hadn't tasted before.
Absorbent, large, and beautiful, these dishtowels are brighter and stronger than any we've used before. They're also in designs chosen by you, the Diaspora Co. Community. These are a wonderful gift for the upcoming Holiday season!
