ingredients

  • 1 slice gluten-free bread, toasted
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 medium avocado
  • 1 tablespoon Furikake seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon sea salt

Method

  • Step 1

    Bring a small pot of water to a rapid boil. Reduce the heat to medium-low, and gently add in the egg and place the lid on. Cook the egg for 5-6 minutes.

  • Step 2

    In the meantime, toast you're bread. Once toasted, use a fork to smash the avocado all over the toast. Set aside.

  • Step 3

    Once the egg is cooked, place it in a bowl of ice water and allow to cool for 1 minute. Discard the ice water and peel the egg. Place the egg onto the toast and use a knife to cut the egg in half, allowing the yolk to spill out onto the toast. Top with seasonings and enjoy!
