ingredients
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup oat milk
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons maple syrup
- pinch sea salt
- 1/2 banana, sliced
- 2 teaspoons coconut oil
- Hemp hearts, for topping
- Chocolate chips, for topping
- Cashew butter, for topping
Method
Step 1
Add oats, oat milk, 1/2 cup water, maple syrup, cinnamon and salt to a small pot. Bring to a simmer and cook over gentle heat until thickens, stirring occasionally.
Step 2
Heat coconut oil in a small saucepan. Add the banana and cook until caramelized. Flip and repeat on second side.
Step 3
Top oatmeal with bananas, hemp hearts, chocolate chips and cashew butter.
