ingredients
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup light coconut milk, plus more if needed
- pinch salt
- 1 teaspoon coconut butter
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup
- Figs, for topping
- Coconut butter, for topping
Method
Step 1
Add oats, 1/2 cup water, coconut milk and salt to a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer and cook over low heat until the oats absorb the liquid. Remove from heat and mix in coconut butter and maple syrup.
Step 2
Transfer to a bowl and top with coconut butter, figs and extra coconut milk if you want it thinner.
