ingredients

  • 2 small jalapeños
  • 1 fresh mango (or 3/4 cup of fresh mango juice), diced
  • 3 ounces Mezcal Añejo
  • 1 ounce Cointreau
  • 2 ounces fresh lime juice
  • 1 ounce agave syrup
  • Sparkling water
  • Tajin seasoning
  • Dry or fresh limes and mint for garnish

Method

  • Step 1

    In a tall glass, slice 1 jalapeño and add it to the glass.

  • Step 2

    Slice the fresh mango, dice it, and add it to the glass. Muddle the mangoes thoroughly until they form a smooth puree.

  • Step 3

    Pour in the mezcal, Cointreau, lime juice, and agave syrup. Stir the mixture well.

  • Step 4

    Rim a cocktail glass with lime and dip it in Tajin seasoning. Set aside.

  • Step 5

    Strain the prepared mixture into the rimmed cocktail glass filled with crushed ice.

  • Step 6

    Top up the glass with sparkling water.

  • Step 7

    Garnish with dehydrated lime slices, jalapeños, and mint.
