ingredients

  • 200 grams all purpose flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 10 grams baking powder
  • 20 grams unsweetened cacao powder
  • 50 grams chopped chocolate
  • 3 tablespoons agave syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 50 millileters room temperature brewed coffee
  • 200 millileters plant-based milk (I used almond milk)
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

Method

  • Step 1

    Add all the ingredients in a large bowl (in the order I wrote them in the ingredients list; mix a little bit after adding the chopped chocolate, then add the rest of them).

  • Step 2

    Heat up a nonstick pan and start cooking your pancakes for about 1 minute of the first side and 30 seconds on the other side on low heat (as mentioned, I cooked them in a 8 cm pan; I added a little bit of oil to the pan before cooking each pancake, because in my experience chocolate/cacao pancakes burn easily; I also cooked them with a lid placed on top of the pan to make sure they cooked through considering they’re so fluffy).
