"Put the oven mitts away! Okay, hereโ€™s the dilemma. First, itโ€™s too hot to turn on the oven. Second, bags of leftover maltesers (or other chocolate) and no one wants to just munch on them anymore. Finally, some form of cake is needed (always mood ๐Ÿ™Š) with limited effort. ingredients

  • 200 chocolate
  • 100 unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp golden syrup
  • 125 gram Digestives
  • 100 gram Maltesers

Method

  • Step 1

Line a square baking tin with baking paper. Place the chocolate, butter and syrup in a saucepan and melt over medium heat.

  • Step 2

Crush half the Maltesers and biscuits. An easy way to do this is to place in a freezer bag and bash with with a rolling pin. This should be crushed until smallish crumbs but small chunks are fine too.

  • Step 3

Stir crushed biscuits into melted chocolate mixture and add in the remaining whole Maltesers and stir until everything is coated.

  • Step 4

Press into the prepared tin then refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set then cut into squares. Enjoy!
