I can't resist a pun...especially a cheesy one (!) and the fusion of a classic Cuban sandwich, a Chinese BBQ pork bun, and jalapeños and Oaxacan cheese to bring a Mexican flavor to it all sounds too good to be true.
Ingredients
roasted pork
honey ham, sliced
swiss cheese
Oaxacan cheese
sliced pickles
jalapeno mustard
steamed bun (char siu bao), sliced in half
Method
Heat a cast iron over medium heat. Top the sliced bun with the roasted pork, ham, cheese, pickles, and jalapeño mustard. Top with the other slice of bread, and press on the cast iron until the cheese is melted, flipping once.
