  • 5 ripe avocados, halved lengthwise and pitted
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup finely diced shallots or sweet onion
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1/3 cup chopped fresh cilantro, (more or less if preferred)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons sea salt, plus more if preferred

    Add all ingredients to a molcajete or large bowl. Use spoon and/or pestle to combine and mash. Season with as much additional sea salt and chopped cilantro as is preferred. Serve immediately.
