Veggie and Hot Dog Sandwiches with Spicy Sauce

For the Sriracha Mayonnaise


  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons sriracha

For the Hot Dogs


  • 1 large French baguette, cut into 4 equal pieces
  • 4 hot dogs, andouille or any spicy smoked sausages you prefer
  • 1 seedless cucumber, cut into sticks
  • 2-3 carrots, cut into matchsticks
  • 3 jalapeno peppers, sliced
  • 1/2 cup cilantro


  • Step 1

    Make the sriracha mayonnaise: Combine both ingredients in a bowl. You can add more or less sriracha according to how spicy you want it. Refrigerate until ready to use.

  • Step 2

    Make the hot dogs: Heat a grill on medium-high heat and cook hot dogs, turning occasionally for about 5-6 minutes. Add the baguettes and toast open side down for about 20 seconds.

  • Step 3

    To assemble, spread the sriracha mayonnaise on the baguettes. Add the cucumber, carrots, sliced jalapeños, hot dogs and cilantro. Drizzle some extra sriracha mayo on top.
