Bourbon Soaked Apple Pie

Ingredients:
homemade or store-bought pie crust
2 apples, sliced
juice of 1/2 lemon
1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
1 tbsp bourbon
3 tbsp maple syrup
1 tbsp cane sugar
spash of vanilla
2 tbsp flour
cinnamon
Method:
Preheat oven to 400F.
Dust pie crust with cinnamon.
To make the filling, in a large bowl toss together apple slices, the juice of 1/2 a lemon, 1/4 cup chopped walnuts, 1 tbsp bourbon, 3 tbsp maple syrup, 1 tbsp cane sugar, and a splash of vanilla and let it sit for about 10 minutes.
Then toss in 2 tbsp of flour, mix it all together, and layered it on top of my crust.
Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until golden brown.
