ingredients

  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • Dash of cinnamon
  • 4 dates, soaked in hot water
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon coconut sugar
  • 2 tablespoons almond flour
  • 1/2 tablespoon cinnamon

Method

  • Step 1

    Begin by soaking dates in hot water for 5-10 min. Drain & transfer to a blender, and add 1/4 cup water. Blend until a paste forms.

  • Step 2

    Add 2 tablespoons of date paste to the almond flour & dash of cinnamon until a thick dough forms.

  • Step 3

    Roll out.

  • Step 4

    To make filling combine the rest of the date paste with coconut sugar, 2 tablespoons almond flour & cinnamon.

  • Step 5

    Add filling to dough layer. Roll & refrigerate for 30 min or longer!
