- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 2 whole cloves
Method
Make the Whipped Feta:
Step 1
In a food processor, combine feta, yogurt, garlic, lemon zest, olive oil, water, and black pepper.
Step 2
Blend until smooth and creamy, adding more water if needed to loosen. Set aside or chill until ready to use.
For the Ham:
Step 1
Slice ham into thin strips. In a skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil and sauté ham for 3–4 minutes, or until crispy and golden. Remove from pan and set aside.
Make the Glaze:
Step 1
In a small bowl, dissolve Better Than Bouillon Baked Ham Base in boiling water. Stir in honey, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, black pepper, paprika, and cloves.
Glaze the Ham:
Step 1
Pour the glaze mixture into the same skillet used for the ham.
Step 2
Bring to a simmer and cook for 3–5 minutes, or until the glaze is reduced and slightly thickened.
Step 3
Return the crispy ham to the pan and toss to coat.
Assemble the Platter and Serve:
Step 1
Spread whipped feta in a swoosh on a serving platter. Top with glazed ham, orange segments, fresh rosemary, and a sprinkle of black pepper.
Step 2
Serve immediately with toasted baguette crostini. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.
