As the night progressed, the towers of DeLallo Havarti, the pyramids of Prince Omar’s Grape Leaves, huge bowls of olives, dishes filled with jam, rosettes of prosciutto, were all dismantled in pure joy and hunger. After devouring more cheese and meat than they thought possible, every guest left with a sampling of items from the famed charcuterie board of earlier hours. Sour cherry spread from the slab pies, or the bright and briny olives from the grazing table, spicy calabrese salami, and the delicious sesame grissini were among a few options.
