Now is the time to be thinking about DIY Holiday Gifts, and what better way than with a homemade, soothing body scrub? We're mixing together bright pops of grapefruit with Filippo Berio Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil and sugar to create a perfect holiday gift. 
For this homemade body scrub, we're using both grapefruit juice and zest, for the bright citrus smell, as well as the exfoliating characteristics of the zest. The addition of granulated sugar will also allow for the scrub to slough off any excess dirt or dead skin that will be removed when using it. However, the true star of the scrub is the Filippo Berio Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil!
Filippo Berio Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, which is certified USDA organic, is the perfect pairing for this scrub. It helps the sugar and grapefruit juice bind together, without allowing it to dissolve completely. It also softens any dry patches, and helps the sugar melt into the surface of the skin.
