What a refreshing way to compliment that savory, meaty flavors of grilled haloumi. Embrace winter citrus and try this out! RECIPE: Ingredients: 1 - 2 Blood Oranges 1 - Navel Orange 1 - Lime (optional) 6 - 8 Fresh Mint Leaves 4 ounces of Halloumi Cheese (sliced 1/4 inch thick) A drizzle of Olive Oil Instructions: Pare Oranges/Lime so that no pith remains and then cut into thin slices and set to the side. In a large non-stick skillet, heat oil on medium heat and then add Halloumi. Allow Halloumi to cook for about 3 - 4 minutes or until golden brown on each side. Then plate all of your ingredients together. You can add a small drizzle of Olive Oil and a dash of sea salt if you like, but it should be enough from the cheese alone. And if you'd like it a bit on the sweeter side then drizzle with a little honey or agave nectar. Enjoy!
