The tender, juicy pork is coated in a rich garlic butter sauce and served over sazon rice! It's the perfect easy weeknight dish, as it doesn't take too long to make from start to finish.

ingredients

  • 1 pound bone-in pork chops
  • Coarse sea salt, to taste
  • Ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 4 tablespoons butter, divided
  • 4 sprigs thyme
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 tablespoons white wine
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Method

  • Step 1

    Season both sides of the pork chops with salt and ground black pepper.

  • Step 2

    Heat up a skillet on medium-high heat. Add the cooking oil, 2T melted butter and thyme. Pan sear and cook the pork chops for about 3 minutes on each side, or until the surface turns light golden brown.

  • Step 3

    Add the garlic, wine and lemon juice to the skillet. Continue to flip the pork chops around and saute the garlic until light brown. Add a pinch of salt.

  • Step 4

    Remove the pork chops from heat, and add the rest of the butter to the sauce.
