Recipe Intro From saboramormk
There are so many ways to go about eating bananas. From the simple pairing of banana with nut butter to baked goods like banana bread, the options are endless and almost always delicious! In some cultures, banana plants are sacred and the fruit is considered to be a food of the gods. Whether or not you consider banana to be a sacred food, they're rich in vitamin b6 and potassium, making them a great health food. Next time you've got bananas on hand, try this tasty dairy free snack.
In this recipe, ripe bananas are coated in smooth peanut butter and 70% dark chocolate. Make this dish your own by coating the banana in your favorite type of chocolate – white chocolate or milk chocolate chips would give this dish an entirely different flavor!
If you have a peanut allergy, we recommend coating the banana in almond or cashew butter (if other tree nuts are ok with you) or you can use granola butter or sunflower butter!
