Recipe Intro From neuroticmommy
This pear galette is both easy and impressive, perfect for a delicious homemade dessert with minimal effort. Featuring tender, thinly sliced pears layered on a buttery, cinnamon-sugar crust, this galette is a standout treat. The crust is made from store-bought pie dough, which is rolled out, braided, and topped with a simple egg wash for a golden finish.
To achieve the best results, chill the assembled galette for 15 minutes before baking. This step helps the dough maintain its shape and ensures a crisp, flaky crust.
