Gluten Free Dark Chocolate Raspberry Waffles

If you are on a gluten free diet and love chocolate then these are for you. Look at all the yumminess that’s going on with this breakfast dish.

INGREDIENTS

Waffles:
2 eggs, separated
2 cups milk of choice
1/2 cup olive oil
2 cups teff flour
1/3 cup cacao powder
3 Tbsp coconut sugar
4 tsp baking powder
Pinch of salt
1/2 cup dark or milk chocolate chips
1 cup frozen raspberries

Toppings:
Yoghurt
Fresh berries of choice 
Chopped nuts of choice 


DIRECTIONS
In a bowl, beat egg whites until firm peaks form. 

In another bowl, whisk together milk, oil, and egg yolks. Add flour, cacao, sugar, baking powder, salt, and combine well. Fold in chocolate chips and raspberries. Carefully fold egg whites into the batter.

Cook batter in your waffle maker until crisp and golden. Top with yoghurt, berries and chopped nuts and devour while hot.
