ingredients
- 10 ounces plant-based chorizo, cooked according to the package
- 1 (10 ounce) can Tomato Love Medium Diced Tomatoes with 2x Green Chilies, drained
- 1 ½ cups Red Gold Petite Diced Tomatoes
- Juice from 2 limes
- 1 handful cilantro
- 1 large clove garlic
- ½ large red onion, chopped
- ½-1 teaspoon sugar, or to taste
- ½-1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 cup guacamole (homemade or pre made)
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheese
- Sliced green onions and black olives for topping
- Tortilla chips, to serve
Method
Step 1
Cook “chorizo” according to package instructions and set aside to cool.
Step 2
Make salsa by blending tomatoes, red onion, garlic, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and sugar for 10-15 seconds in a blender. Set aside.
Step 3
In a dish, layer chorizo, guacamole, sour cream, salsa, cheese, sliced green onion, and sliced olives.
Step 4
Serve dip with tortilla chips.
