This December Feedfeed welcomed Danone North America at FeedfeedBrooklyn to celebrate their incredible innovations in the yogurt space and to commemorate Danone’s 100th Anniversary as a global corporation. We were thrilled to host this vanguard brand partner-- the largest B-Corp in the world!

Guests started the evening enjoying a grazing table featuring a versatile spread of dips made with a variety of Danone brands - Cucumber-Mint Dip with Two Good Lowfat Plain Greek Yogurt, Spicy Harissa Dip with Oikos Sweetened with Honey Greek Yogurt, Light & Fit Icelandic Style Yogurt - Blueberry Acai, Oikos Greek Yogurt with Almond Butter and Berries and Activia Less Sugar, More Good - Fig Cinnamon Fruit Dip all made for delicious pairing options for fresh fruit and vegetables. At the bar, Oikos Pro Fuel and Activia’s Probiotic Smoothie made for energizing ‘shots’ at the outset of the night.

Passed appetizers highlighted the savory applications of Danone’s yogurt portfolio, as Spicy Lamb Meatballs were brightened by a drizzle of Oikos Sweetened with Honey Greek Yogurt and a Greek Salad featured a creamy dressing made with Two Good Lowfat Greek Yogurt - Plain.

Before we began dinner, we heard from Pedro Silveira, the president of Danone North America’s yogurt business, about the commitment to research-based innovation and response to public health to which Danone is committed.  We were also reminded that for every guest that evening, Danone North America made a donation to City Harvest, a longtime partner of Feedfeed’s, that would allow them to rescue and deliver 100 pounds of food for New Yorkers in need.

Our delectable menu featured a range of savory mains and sides that we hope you will try yourself - guests couldn’t get enough of these dishes!  Mains included Spicy Roasted Salmon with Tomatoes and Yogurt Chicken Curry, both made with Two Good Lowfat Greek Yogurt - Plain, while sides included Yogurt Marinated Roasted Cauliflower made with Oikos Sweetened with Honey Greek Yogurt, Roasted Sweet Potatoes with Brown Butter and Oikos Sweetened with Honey Greek Yogurt, and Crispy Persian Potato and Saffron Tahdig made with Two Good Lowfat Greek Yogurt - Plain.

After dinner, we savored all things sweet!  A Maple-Yogurt Sheet Cake with Whipped Activia Less Sugar, More Good -Fig Cinnamon Frosting was made with Activia and inspired by The Cultured Snacking Co.’s Maple Pecan Bar.  We also loved making our own creations at our plant-based dessert bar featuring So Delicious Dairy Free Coconut Milk Yogurt Alternative and Silk Almondmilk Yogurt Alternative, both in sweetened and unsweetened vanilla.

We loved welcoming our Feedfeed community members on behalf of Danone North America!  You will notice these incredible dairy- and plant-based yogurts in the yogurt aisle in the grocery store, and you won’t regret giving these incredibly delicious and socially conscious brands a try!
