  • 1 teaspoon sofrito
  • 4 cups cooked U.S.-grown jasmine rice
  • 1 cup diced bistec (beef steak)
  • 1 cup diced fried sweet plantains
  • 2 cups stewed pink beans
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chopped cilantro

Method

  • Step 1

    In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the annatto oil and let it warm.

    Add the diced onions, red, green, and yellow bell peppers, garlic, and sofrito. Sauté until fragrant and the vegetables begin to soften.
