Recipe Intro From katie.melodie
Canadian Poutine is a combination of french fries, gravy and cheese curds. This recipe is typically made with regular fries, but we opted to use Alexia Foods Sweet Potato Fries with Sea Salt, which have the perfect balance of sweet & salty flavors. This easy-to-make side is the ultimate comfort food.
It only takes 20 minutes to make this poutine! Serve it with steak or a burger.

ingredients
- 1 bag Alexia Sweet Potato Fries with Sea Salt
- 1 cup cheese curds
- 1 cup gravy of choice
Method
Step 1
Layer frozen sweet potato fries onto a parchment lined baking sheet and bake according to package directions. While the fries are cooking, warm up your gravy.
Step 2
Immediately after pulling the fries out of the oven, sprinkle the cheese curds on top. If cheese curds aren’t available, you can swap them out for cubed low-moisture mozzarella cheese.
Step 3
Once the cheese curds are evenly distributed throughout the fries, drizzle the hot gravy over the fries and cheese curds. Give it a minute to let the heat from the gravy melt the cheese curds and serve.
