ingredients

  • 2 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 medium finely chopped onion
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • Pasta of choice
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons chilli powder (I used a mix of chilli flakes and Aleppo pepper)
  • Salt & pepper
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Parsley

Method

  • Step 1

    Cook the pasta as per packet suggestion. Add oil to a pan and cook the onions for 3 minutes.

  • Step 2

    Add garlic and cook until golden. Add seasoning mix well until it bubbles, keep 2 tsp of crispy sauce for topping, then add some reserved pasta water to create a sauce.

  • Step 3

    Add the pasta and toss and coat well. Add the crispy onion garlic crisp and enjoy
