Brie and Pear Sourdough Toasts

Brie and fig jam makes for a classic sweet and creamy combination on these simple and tasty breakfast toasts.

  • 4 slices sourdough bread
  • 4 ounces brie, sliced
  • 1 1/2 ounces fig marmalade
  • 1 pear, sliced
  • 1 handfull whole pecans


  • Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 425°F.

  • Step 2

    Toast bread slices in the oven for 7-8 minutes until crispy, flipping halfway through.

  • Step 3

    Place two slices of brie on the bread slices, and return to the oven. Bake for 5 more minutes or until the cheese starts to melt (being careful not to burn the toasts).

  • Step 4

    Remove from the oven and top with sliced pear, fig marmalade and pecans. Serve immediately.
