  • FOR THE CUPCAKE:
  • 218 gram all purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 250 gram sugar
  • 115 gram at room temperature butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 at room temperature eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons lemon zest (add more if desired, I used the zest of three small lemons)
  • 1 1/4 cup blueberries
  • 2 teaspoons flour
  • FOR THE BLUEBERRY BUTTERCREAM:
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup at room temperature salted butter
  • 1/2 cup at room temperature unsalted butter
  • 3 -4 cups icing sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Extra blueberries for decoration
