Chive and Cheese Sourdough Bread

(9)
"Last week when I shared my pressed flower sourdough loaf I had a few questions about how I get the flowers to stick. I thought I would share a photo that explains it a little more. The flowers are placed face down in the proofing basket then the shaped dough is place on top to rise. Then once risen when it’s tipped out to bake it they are stuck to the outside of the bread on their own. The flowers and herbs are fresh and and not pre pressed, just placed in the basket. The weight of the dough presses them flat onto the surface and they adhere to it with out having to add anything. This one was cheese and chive and I added some chopped black garlic too."
