"I discovered something new to me and I want to share it with you. Mostarda is an Italian, chutney-like preserve of dried and fresh fruit, mustard seeds, and cayenne pepper. It cooks down and makes this amazing syrup. Serve mostarda with pork roast instead of applesauce or just put it out on your cheese and salumi platter. I used fall fruits like apples and pears, but you use what's in season. Serve it with sweet Italian sausage for an Oktoberfest switch-up."
