"HIDDEN VEGGIE PROTEIN OATMEAL! Stay with me here friends- I know it sounds weird, but trust me! 😉 We try to make sure all of our meals have protein, carbs, healthy fats, and veggies.. and this checks off all the boxes. ✔️It’s super filling from our favorite @nowfoodsofficial protein powder (unlike regular oatmeal which is usually just a big bowl of carbs) and doesn’t taste like cauliflower rice (I swear, I hate cauliflower 😂) here’s how I’ve been making it:
1/2 cup cooked steel cut oatmeal
1/2 cup cauliflower rice
1/3 cup almond milk
¼ cup @nowfoodsofficial chocolate protein powder ( code CLEANEATINGNOW10 for $10 off $40 )
Whatever toppings you like (peanut butter always wins!)
Cook steel cut oats per direction on the package (I like to make them in the instant pot and freeze them or keep them in the fridge)
Heat cauliflower rice and almond milk in the microwave until warm.
Add cooked oats to warm cauliflower rice/almond milk mixture
Quickly stir in NOW® Sports protein powder until it’s mixed in- you may need to add more almond milk to make it smooth.
