ingredients

  • 1 bagel, halved
  • 2 tablespoon butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/3 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 sliced of thick-cut bacon, cooked
  • 1 tablespoon everything seasoning

  • Step 1

    1. Make the hole in your bagel ¾” wide. Heat skillet over medium heat.

  • Step 2

    2. Spread butter on both halves of the bagel, then sprinkle with salt and pepper. Sprinkle half of the cheese onto the bagel, then top with the two slices of bacon. Top with remaining cheese, then place top half of bagel on top.

  • Step 3

    3. Melt remaining butter, and brush on top of bagel. Sprinkle everything seasoning on top. Place bagel in skillet, plain side down. Crack egg into the center hole of the bagel. Season with salt and pepper. Cover and cook until the white is set, but yolk is still runny, roughly 6 to 8 minutes. If the white is not setting, you may stick under the broiler for 1 minute.
